Everyday is one of their birthdays, mother's day, Christmas, graduation, and they celebrate big (insert awkward photo ideas here) he has the fullest year of life since he left cambdon county and his mother passes happily. Barb and Stan now live together (when Stan lives with both women he loves splitting time between houses).  Jack hears about Barb and everyone in their crime family is caught up. Jack knocks a door and two of the happiest weeks fly by and caught up in the make up for lost time attitude they get married in a quicky wedding at Wiggles strip club. Jack and Joy bond over their lack of family and Jack invites Barb, Stan, Stan's Mom, Rooster, Wiggles, and Melvin but no one knows how to get in touch with Gloria but Barb says she comes around once a year for their millionair-verasry and have a gal pal night. Joy just arranges the Officiant that Rooster finds familiar but he's older and Joy introduces as a friend of her father's and the only family she has left.

While Rooster tries to come up with a plan Barb talks to Gloria on the phone and Gloria reveals she is in the same prison but will not take a visit from Gloria, only phone. Barb tells her Jack is also in prison and this time he's getting out early...like for good behavior :) Gloria asks them to take her with them and tell Barb there is money in her house and she'll never find it without Gloria's help. Luke's taste of fame, still wanting recognition for his hits

Guy who stole Luke's songs

Luke dealing with the 'other side of hollywood' eating food of the dead gets you in debt to them, they ate at the cafe.  The deal is you dont' pass on to the other side to the otherside because you have something left to give to the world, Luke is convinced it's his music.  Booboo had his love/his coming out to his parents.

Reggie/ resent Luke for tying their fate together and keeping them in limbo.

Luke in a panic sings an old song from his old band with Julie and it goes viral and suddenly Julie is in hot water for copyright infringement, even though she didn't know.  Maybe for an encore or something.

Julie throws herself into a relationship with fake

Meg Cabot Easter Egg Daydream

Based on my previous post I have been daydreaming that even though the two books I connect have been published for 17-18 years I am still feel like the first person to find that Easter egg.  I'm sure I'm not and I'm sure it's because I've read and enjoyed Ready Player One, a few two many times but something in my brain hopes I get an email from Meg Cabot tomorrow saying I'm the lucky winner for realizing she put a bad guy in two books with very little overlap except that the guy was a psycho waiting to happen and I guess it's better to reuse because if you don't have to create more bad guys in even a fictitious world then good on ya.

What's my prize Meg Cabot?  Can it please be that you write a 'Avalon High' esque novel but instead with the fairy tale of Peter Pan?  I have a lot of thoughts but I can't quite make the plot work like you did with Avalon High and wow did they miss the mark on the ending.  I mean I don't mind that they make changes but it really isn't the same.  Ditto for the Princess Diaries.

Meg Cabot's World - Teen Idol and Heather Wells Mystery Series

OK so I don't have the novels in front of me so please forgive any glaring errors in details but going from memory Teen Idol's plot is loosely how the main character moves from being 'the mayonnaise' that makes everything go together and smoothing things out to taking charge and seeing conflict as health instead of constantly trying to make everyone happy.  Jenny (the main character) does this after a under cover movie start points out that Jenny is all about people pleasing and that the status quo at her school is pretty messed up and she should do more about it.  She does, and things work out and everyone is happy.  Some of Jenny's conflict is that she is in a show choir class with her best friend and the teacher is Gary Hall.

I've searched the internet and haven't seen anyone else make this connection that Gary Hall is also the main antagonist in Size 12 and Ready to Rock and teacher that seduced, married and blackmails the rock start Tanya Trace.

My intention is to read both books again to find more crossover (if any) exists.  For the life of me I can't remember Tanya's previous name before she went all glam and got a stage name but I know it was something tricky because Cooper (detective boyfriend) had a hard time finding Tanya and Mr. Hall's marriage license.

Spoiler: super glad Mr. Hall goes to jail, he is gross on a lot of levels.

Also someone posted on goodreads that the audiobook narrator has 'the most irritating voice I've ever heard'.

Let me tell you Elisabeth Moss is a TREASURE!! She has been a standout performer since The West Wing.  She is hugely popular for staring in the Handmaid's tale

Her insta bio states:Elisabeth Singleton Moss is an American actor. Dubbed the "Queen of Peak TV" by Vulture, she has received numerous accolades, including two Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards

Scandal and Yellowstone

Ok fair warning, I have only seen the pilot for Scandal and Yellowstone but from my minimal viewing I think they have the same set up and same basic premise but different context/location.

For example these parallel characters.

Olivia Pope/John Dutton - Powerful leader, has all the answers, makes all the decisions. Is largely unquestioned.

Huck/Rip Wheeler - Hitman, super loyal but no conscious. This character is the reason I cannot watch either show. I have no stomach for the violence.

Quinn Perkins/Kayce Dutton - audience in, new (or like Kayce a return) to the core group.

Day Zero

So I'm starting on a bad day. My kids were up in the night. My baby is sick and so is my husband and I rationalized that I needed to eat poorly to have a better day.

Brutal Honesty yes, I think eating junk food made me feel numb and kinda felt like I checked a box somehow but the guilt is strong. Personal experiment. Going to resist the urge to snack and not eart sugary treats tomorrow by staying really busy. Drinking lots of water and reading my scriptures.

A Slob Comes Clean - Weightloss

I love Dana K White for home management. Let me be more specific. I love her books. Decluttering at the speed of light and How to manage your home when it's an overwhelming mess.
You can get all the same information from her blog, podcast, YouTube channel, etc. but her books are distilled wisdom. It's all laid out without any fluff (but not taking out her folksy stories and funny commentary).

So I think her philosophy can be applied to weight loss. It might be a stretch right now but I'll see what I can do.
She says do the dishes, for me. It's Not Even One, regarding sweets. I just can't handle it. If I have even one then I quickly have 12.
Not even one.
